Hello folks!!! Long time again. I keep telling myself I'll blog more often but alas it's not happening. I spend every free moment I get with my sweet lil boy. I can't get enough of him honestly. Many people are surprised at how much he's changed me. I am surprised myself.

I thank God every day for putting him in my life. He's been nothing but a blessing in my life. He's turned me into a very sappy person. Every moment with him is just very special and I'm honestly grateful to God. He couldn't have blessed me with a better child.

Now on to my fall must haves. I haven't really been doing much shopping since my lil one is still too young. Whenever we go to the mall, it's usually just a quick dash. Here are some things that I'll be getting this fall

I currently have it in grey, red and yellow. I think I'll be getting the blue one now.

I love this blouse.

Since I'm still nursing, my clothes have to be baby friendly. This blouse makes absolute sense in my wardrobe.

It's really been a long time!!!! OMG. Life is so good right now. I'm content and can't complain. My LO is finally here. He arrived August 26th at 6:58am!!! All perfect, 10 fingers, 10 toes and lots of hair. It's hard to believe that one moment he was just inside me and the next moment, my doc said "you're one minute from been a mom, he's got lots of hair" and boom he was out. He came out screaming like a champ that he is. I wasn't emotional all through my pregnancy but I let it out that day. Even my doc said hubby and I traded roles!!! I tear up every time I remember his birth story. I can't get enough of him, I love him so much it's unbelievable. I intend to spoil every ounce of him. I don't care what anybody says ;)

I remember when we first found out we were pregnant. We were both shocked!!!!

First ultra sound!!!! When I couldn't even make him out on the screen.

31 weeks preggo

35 Weeks preggo.

39weeks + 3days on our way to the hospital!!!!!

Edo baby at less than 30mintues old!!!

My precious Edophi at 6 days old!!!

PS Edophi is not his real name. That is his nickname. It's an inside joke. :)

In other news, fashion night out is today!!! I won't be attending this year for obvious reasons. I know it will be fun as usual. Then fashion week next week. Can't wait to see what's in store for spring 2012.

I got an email from one of my readers two weeks ago ( so sorry I'm just getting to this, you know who you are) who is also pregnant. She wanted tips on what to wear. Honestly, I'm the wrong person to come to. I say this because my wardrobe hasn't changed in any way. I am still wearing my regular outfits and this is because before I got pregnant, I wore a lot of dresses, shorts and leggings. My Alice + Olivia dresses have really come in handy because they have volume, so I just wear them and put a belt on it. I've also been wearing a lot of maxi dresses that I've accumulated over the years.

Whatever I wear, I just make sure I don't look like Chuy from Chelsea Lately.

I haven't had to buy any maternity clothes yet. Apart from the fact that they're still too big for me, they're also too expensive!!!! Hopefully, I get to wear my regular clothes till the last day.

I don't even know where to start from. I got so many emails from my last post. Thank you so much for the emails, the comments and people who sent me a text. I was asked lots of questions so I'll just answer them here

1. Am I pregnant ? - Yes ;)

2. How far am I ? - 23 weeks and change now. That's 5 months in regular people speak

3. Am I pregnant in that picture ? Yes, took that picture last week when I was 22 weeks

4. Do I know what I'm having - Yes I do ;). A big child!!!!

5. Can't wait to see what I've bought for the baby - nothing!!! actually I take that back. I got about 10 pairs of shoes for this child already but other than that nada

6. How am I feeling? Depends on the day. I have oh so good days and oh so bleh days.

7. Am I going to do baby posts now? Hmmmm. I dunno. I've really struggled with this. As much as I'll love to share things about my journey, I don't want to make this blog a baby blog. I've decided to create another blog and make it all things baby. The baby blog will be private for now though. If you want access to it, please send me an email bola @ chiclevogue .com

Jeggings are one of the most comfortable things ever ( for me ). I love this one!!!

Anywhoos back to the bag. I started searching for it immediately. Finally found it yesterday on Barneys website. It's the Marc Jacobs Paradise Stud Kate Messenger. Yay. I love it when I'm able to find something I see on TV. I get a big thrill from searching.

I like cause it's so cute and very girly. I'm going to stop by the store this weekend and hopefully it fits perfectly. I have too many purses that are on my wish list.

I really really love TB revas. They are so comfortable. And for some reason, I like getting them in very bright colors. I saw this pink and pewter and knew I needed to have them.

Natalie Portman in Viktor & Rolf. I like the dress. I guess when you're preggo, you can either accentuate the bump or hide it. She wore the dress well. I just wish the bright red rose was missing. I don't like the rose!!!

Jeniffer Lopez in Zuhair Murad. I wish the sheer thing on top wasn't part of the dress though.

Olivia Wilde. Love the dress. It is so gorgeous for real. I chose this picture because we get to see her Loubies!!!!!

Anne Hathaway in Armani Prive. I'm sure Rachel Zoe dressed her as usual. Gorgeous. Wanna see the shoes though.

Remember when I had the dilemma of what agenda to buy? After a lot of consideration, I got the LV EPI early this year and I love it. It really keeps me sane.

It's almost 2011 and now I have yet another dilemma. This time around it's what type of paper I should get. When I got my agenda, I got the LV day refill paper along with it and I really like the paper. It's so soft. I was going to order it again but then I decided to look at other options and yikes, I really shouldn't have.

There's the Kate Spade refill paper It is so colorful and girly.

Also I saw the Hello Kitty Refill but I feel nobody will take me seriously if I have this

Then of course there's the LV Refill Paper

So which should I get?

Happy new month
December yay. I'm happy it's December. It's almost Christmas and all the good sales now. Lots of stores have cut their first price. I haven't bought anything so far though. Been sick!!!! I'm tired of been sick for real. My lovely SA was kind enough to send pictures of shoes on sale.

I also checked out NM and I want these lovelies so bad. Don't think I'll be getting them at this price though. Maybe if they do some further price cuts :(

Howdy. Did you have a good thanksgiving? I did!!! I've got a lot to be thankful for.
How about black Friday? Did you shop? No shopping on my end. This is the first time I missed out of all the shopping frenzy. Normally, I'm one of the first in line at the stores but not this year. No reason in particular. Just wanted to chill all day and chill I did. It's not like I don't have a wish list or something.

Howdy folks. Can you believe it's mid November already? Wowzie!!!! Just about two more weeks to thanksgiving and viola the holidays officially begin. I'm excited!!!! So you know I'm a Chanel junkie right? If you don't know, then you haven't read my blog enough. So go ahead and read now.;)

So I walked into the store the other day and decided to try some of their holiday Lèvres Scintillantes Glossimer. Yikes that's a mouthful isn't it? Anyway, the color was very rich!!!!

I tried all different colors. However, I really loved the Charming and Pleasing a lot. The Pleasing is a tone of brown with some light pink in it. Very nice.

Even more amazing was it was still on my lip at the end of the night!!!! I'm thinking of going back and getting some more since I'm not sure they'll have it after the holiday.

Yay,it's that time of the year again. I love birthdays. I'm counting down to the 18th of October!!!!!

I've been thinking of what to buy for myself this year and I can't seem to make up my mind.

One of them is this hot pair of Louboutins. I've had my eye on it for a long time and it just won't leave.

Then there's this YSL Ycones Flat. I want it like yesterday. It is very chic. It will come in very handy when I have to meet clients. So technically, it's a business expense right ;)

This is another option. I've wanted this Porsum trench since I first laid my eyes on them. They fit so right too ( tell me why I tried it out?)

Hmmmm. decisions decisions. Can't seem to make up my mind.

Chic Vendor Alert - Melanie Gayle

These days, I notice that I shop more at small boutiques rather than big stores. Hubby says it's because I'm a small business owner myself. I guess that's true to a certain point. Don't get me wrong, I still shop at big stores but I just shop more at small boutiques.

I was so excited when I found Melanie Gayle a few weeks ago. They had very chic, stylish and trendy clothes and accessories at reasonable prices.

Chic Celeb Feature Alert ~ Kelly Osbourne

So, it looks like I went to bed one night, woke up the next day and a new Kelly Osbourne was born. Seriously, I was watching Chelsea Lately the other night ( hey don't judge me )and Kelly was her guest. She looked so hot and in shape. I was so jealous. No more pink hair (Praise God), very lovely outfits, her body is toned. Go Kelly.

Getting Chilly

It's been very chilly the past few days. 60's in the morning and 80's by night. My sweaters have come in very handy this week because it's definitely not cold enough for a jacket and it's not quite cold enough for a light jacket or trench. Here are some cute ones I have on my radar

Too many cute cardigans out there. I try to look for quality over quantity though AKA forever 21. I got one from there last year and I only wore it once because it had a run and also the button holes got bigger!!! I'm going to stay away from them this year.

Yay it's the hubby's birthday!!!! Honestly, I married the best man on the planet. He's truely my best friend. I know everybody says that but I really mean it. Here's what I wrote about him last year.

To the man
Who helps out cheerfully with every household task
Who tells me I look awesome even when I look a mess
Who understands who gets the difference between simples, rolandos decollete
Who gets the difference between VP's and HP's
Who understands why I need another purse even though I have a million already
Who gets me and understands my irrational moods

To the best thing that has ever happened to me.

And every single thing above is still true today. He's always there for me and no matter what challenges I have , I can sleep well at night because I know we'll face it together the next day. Won't trade him for anything. Hmmm I could use someone who watches tv at lower volume hahaha just kidding. He's the best because I say so!!!!

Breast Cancer Awareness

This month is breast cancer awareness month and lots of companies are donating some of their proceeds to various charities for this course. Here are some of my favs. Go ahead and buy something. Chic Celeb Feature Alert

October. Yay. October is a very special month for me. It's our wedding anniversary month, then hubby's birthday, then mom's birthday and finally my birthday. So exciting.

So my celeb of today is Alicia Keys. Alicia has really come a long way!!!! I remember when she used to dress so tomboyish. I'm glad she's past that stage.
She looked so beautiful at the Keep A Child Alive’s Ball.

I love how the dress drapes around her belly. The dress is so beautiful and she carries her pregnancy very well. She looks good!!!!

I'm not even going to judge her or comment on the ridiculous head piece she has on her head.

To Buy or Not to Buy

As much as I love and adore shoes, one pair I’m always reluctant spending money is sneakers.

I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than $50.00 on a pair of sneakers. I just can’t justify it. The only time I wear my sneakers is when I’m going to the gym. I know I know, comfortable shoes and all when working out. I’ve tried and it just has never happened. My most expensive pair of sneakers were my cleats and even those were a gift. I lost them a few months ago and riding hasn’t been the same.

I remember when I saw the ad for the Reebok EasyTone shoes ( the shoes that claim to work your butt and thighs and hamstrings while just walking around), I was so excited and I ran to Dicks Sporting goods because I was going to buy them. Well my excitment was killed as soon as I saw the price.

So along with needing a new pair of cleats, I also need a new pair of sneakers for regular work out. I’ve seen some very very cute cleats but I can’t justify spending that much. Those things aren’t cheap. I’m getting to the point where my feet hurts after riding or working out because I’m wearing bad shoes. Hubby has threatned to stop rubbing my feet every time I come back from the gym. I really need to just buy them right?

Can't believe summer is almost over. Let me just say this - I'm not going to miss the heat. It's been so HOT and humid. Can't wait for us to be in the 70's and 80's again. I promise not to complain during the cold winter months.

Can you believe Labor day is here already? Wow!!!! Where did the summer go? I feel like it just flew by for real. Like wasn't Memorial Day just last week. Yikes. This year is really flying by. Even though I'm looking forward to the fall, I'm going to try and enjoy what is left of the summer.

Speaking of the fall, I'm in the market for a new fall purse and I saw these cute ones.

I'm not a big Louis Vuitton person. However, I saw this Mahina and I fell in love with it immediately. The leather looks so yummy. I love both the L and the XL and if I were to get the LV, I'm not sure which of them I'll go with.

Then there's this Marc by Marc Jacobs Classic Q. I love love love love love ( ok you get the point ) it. The leather looks so soft and it looks like a timeless purse.

Of course a Chanel has to be in the running. I'm not even sure how much this is. I stayed away from the Chanel store all summer and I'm very proud of myself. ( Am I the only one sick and tired of their constant price increase?)

Can you believe summer is almost over? I feel like Memorial day weekend was just last week. Even though summer is almost over, I still keep buying summer outfits. I have a thing for dresses and I can't stop buying. I just make sure that I can transition the dresses into fall. Here are some cute ones I found.

I absolutely adore this dress and I just had to have it. Come fall, I can throw on a nice pair of tights, cardigan and booties and yay I'm good to go. ;)

Even though I'm tired of Summer and ready for Fall, I'm happy that I can still wear summer outfits especially shorts. It's been so hot over here. Honestly, we clocked triple digits temperature in the last two weeks.

Anwhoos, I ordered some things online and decided to share.

How cute is this romper? I try to stay away from forever 21, but I saw this and I knew I absolutely had to have it. I love the olive color. ( Lots of Fall clothes in olive too) Who cares if it doesn't last more than two wears huh. This is to hoping it fits right.

Next, I headed off to JCrew and the Kelsey ruffle top was finally on sale. I did my happy dance and quickly added it to my cart before someone else took it.

My Celeb feature today is Beyonce and Jayz. I'm not too crazy about Beyonce and Jayz doesn't do it for me either but I love them together. I can't even explain why I love them together. They are just too cute in their own ways. Beyonce is such a hard worker. I mean that girl is always in the studio and I think she has a new album almost every year. I also love the pieces that make up her wardrobe.She needs to hire a stylist though.She has a lot of great pieces but she needs to learn how to combine the outfits.

Finally Friday is here. I've been looking forward to Friday since Sunday night. Yay for it been here finally.

Did anybody catch the series finale of The Hills? I can't believe I watch that mess of a show. It all started with Laguna Beach and then we all moved on to The Hills. I told myself too many times that I'll stop watching but mehhhh it never happened. Now that the show is over, I need another show that will lower my iq lol. I watch pretty wild also( don't judge me :( I don't know why I watch it either) but I heard they won't be coming back for season 2. Oh well that's actually good as far as I'm concerned but still I need my fix of low IQ shows lol

What's the point of this post? There's no point. I'm just happy it's Friday. Yay for Fridays.

Wow, can you believe we're more than half way through June? Two more weeks and this year will be half way gone. Wow.

In other news, it's been long I did a celeb feature. My celeb today is Zoe Saldana. I first noticed her in Pirates (The curse of the black pearl). I forget what her name was there. She's now very popular for playing Neytiri in Avatar. I love her look. She pushes the edge a little bit sometimes and does it very well. Here are some of my fav looks of her.

Product Rave

So most of my friends know that I'm a project junkie. Just tell me this product is good and off I go to get it.

Three weeks ago, I went to the Mac store to get and I saw one of the MUA eyes. OMG it was lovely. I immediately asked her what she was wearing and it was the Mac Pearlglide eyeliner. We tried it on me (the blackline) and she blended it in with the 217 brush and then added Sumptuous Olive eyeshadow. She blended some more and omg it looked so nice. It had the right amount of sparkle and shimmer.

I got it in all colors. It's a limited edition she says. This means that it will be gone soon :( I think I might just go back and get some more. It's a 10 as far as I'm concerned
